The top Ethereum (ETH) whale addresses now hold more than $600,000,000 worth of Shiba Inu (SHIB) meme token, according to on-chain data.
The crypto whale watching site WhaleStats finds that the top 2000 ETH holders have accumulated around 56 billion SHIB.
Dogecoin’s rival (DOGE) is trading at $0.00001083 as of this writing.
The next big investment for the ETH whales is the Polygon (MATIC) blockchain scaling solution, with their accounts retaining over $167.7 million.
The third favorite investment of the ETH whales is in Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST), the token of the investment platform in cryptocurrencies, shares and precious metals.
The top 2,000 whales own more than $155.9 million in BEST. BEST is trading at $0.368 at the time of writing and is up 1.3% in the last 24 hours.
Next on the list is Chainlink (LINK) with the 2,000 ETH whales holding over $149 million in the decentralized oracle service token. Cross crypto exchange SwissBorg (CHSB) is ranked next among the top ETH accounts and the whales have amassed over $131 million worth of tokens.
Other digital assets that whales have amassed include decentralized exchange (DEX) Uniswap (UNI), scaling solution Locus Chain (LOCUS), and gaming metaverse Decentraland (MANA).
The Shiba Inu project recently celebrated the long-awaited launch of Shibarium, the new Layer 2 ecosystem network built on top of Ethereum, similar to Polygon. Shibarium is currently operating in its beta testnet phase.
