The crypto whales are out in force as a new week rolls in, moving a staggering $282.5 million worth of XRP and Polygon (MATIC).
The Whale Alert crypto address tracker detected a number of increasing transactions in the last 36 hours.
Whales have moved XRP both to and from the Bitstamp and Bitso crypto exchanges.
Here’s an overview of the activity, which totals $248.9 million.
- 264,500,000 XRP worth $102.0 million sent from unknown wallet to unknown wallet
- 244,500,000 XRP worth $94.3 million sent from unknown wallet to unknown wallet
- 43,000,000 XRP worth $16.7 million sent from an unknown wallet to Bitstamp
- 35,000,000 XRP worth $13.5 million sent from an unknown wallet to Bitstamp
- 30,000,000 XRP worth $11.6 sent from an unknown wallet to Bitstamp
- 28,000,000 XRP worth $10.8 million sent from Bitso to an unknown wallet
Meanwhile, the Polygon whales have moved a total of $33.6 million, with only one of the transactions involving centralized exchanges.
New numbers from WhaleStats show that Polygon is now the fifth largest crypto asset among the 5,000 largest Ethereum whales on record.
The top four are Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
XRP is at $0.39 at press time, down 0.5% in the last 24 hours. MATIC is at $1.49, down 0.9% in the past day.
